Stäubli group was founded in 1892, famous with its manufacturing and selling textile equipments, coupling, and robot.

Stäubli (Hangzhou) Mechatronic Co., Ltd is the filiale of Stäubli France, and fully invested by Stäubli France. It was founded on Oct. of year 1997. Stäubli (Hangzhou) is the first manufactory outside Europe and located now in Hangzhou economic and technical development zone.

It was in 1982 that Stäubli Faverges made the strategic decision to specialize in robotics. The diversification process began with the affiliation of the American company UNIMATION. Stäubli's new-found skills took shape in the RX arm, launched after being designed and manufactured in our Faverges plant. Strong in the success of these developments, Stäubli continued their research and now have a new concept: TX robots. In 2004, Stäubli acquired Bosch Rexroth’s robotic activity, RS family. With a reputation for sturdiness, reliability and compact size, Stäubli robots now, more than ever, integrate combination of high speed, high precision, great dexterity and user-friendliness.
