SPINNING TECHNOLOGIES FOR PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY

Muratec is exhibiting its Process Coner II QPRO,offering high productivity and quality and said to be easy to operate and energy efficient.

Two models of the magazine type and VCF (labour saving type) are on display at Stand B1 in Hall W2. In addition, FPRO is a new winder that directly drives packages by eliminating conventional drums. This makes it possible to form the package by a full-flexible control system with high speed, high precision and less energy consumption, according to Muratec.

High-speed winding of uniform and low-density packages which are superior in high-speed unwinding by step precision winding and optimum traverse control and low tension are being demonstrated at the stand.

Muratec is also demonstrating high-speed spinning of polyester and melange with rayon by its Vorte

x III 870, which handles roving,spinning and winding. As well as increased productivity - with high-performance spinning at 500m/min - improved operability and reduced energy consumption, the machine is also said to incorporate technologies relating to spinning and clearing that prevent hairiness.

The company is also running a sample corner where the latest Vortex samples are available for visitors to examine.

Muratec's Smart Support concept, comprising the data management system, Visual Manager+ and Vortex-Labo, parts reservation/quotation system e-PRO and Muratec Global Service is also being demonstrated.

With Visual Manager+ and Vortex-Labo, customers can see the operation status of a factory machine on PCs connected to factory LAN.The information necessary for machine operation and ma

intenance is provided.It is also available via portable terminals such as smart phones and iPads.

Using e-PRO, estimates for parts can easily be prepared via the internet. Where, how many and what type of parts are stored can be checked and parts in stock reserved, according to Muratec.
