Jakob Müiller is exhibiting two new machines for air jet label weaving and jacquard pattern weaving in Hall E1 at Stand B5.
The MüJET MBJL6 has a working width of 1200mm and constant production speed of 950rpm, resulting in a 20% increase in output. An optimised weft insertion system is particularly stable and gentle. Compressed air in the left and right relay nozzle sections is individually adjustable and another new feature is retention air that can be separately switched on and off in order to reduce air consumption. Shedding involves the SPE series jacquard with bottom shed read-in and operator-friendly handling. Up to 120 newly developed TC2 cutting elements across the entire working width offer smooth and uniform cut quality, according to Jakob Müller.
Jakob Müller's other new launch, the NHJM2 53 narrow fabric loom is based on the NH2 53 fitted with an electronically controlled, SPE3 192 or 384 jacquard machine. It is said to be ideal for production of elastic and non-elastic tapes with woven, warp effect motifs such as names, Iogos and fashionable decorative elements. Additional patterning possibilities are provided by up to 384 hooks and eight electronically controlled healds. Due to its low energy consumption (<2kW), the NHJM2 53 offers low-cost production, as great flexibility is available for manufacture of various batch sizes, said Jakob Müller.
