British textile machinery manufacturer, Sellers Engineers, exhibiting at Stand B14 in Hall E6 is continuing to supply high quality, well-engineered and energy efficient equipment into the carpet industry. It specialises in carpet backcoating and shearing lines with a strong emphasis on the woven sector.

New installations, in numerous countries around the world, have allowed Sellers to develop its products and, in particular, the newly designed woven backcoatingline now incorporates many new features to improve productivity and reduce down-time. A greater emphasis has been placed on the increased requirement for 5m wide woven products, said the company.

Demand has increased for Sellers backcoating and shearing equipment to finish tufted carpets, it added.

Sellers specialises in the specific configuration of tufted finishing lines to suit customers' exact requirements, whether large or small production capacity and a range or combination of products such as secondary backed, gel-foam, artificial grass or carpet tile products, it said.

Sellers's latest carpet shearing machine is well established in the market. The latest model includes features such as accurate tension control, improved shearing head design and pivoting beds which allows for safe passage of carpet seams. The Sellers shear is available in various formats to suit all production requirements from I-5m wide and single head for low production up to six cylinder machines for high speed shearing.

Sellers said it has pursued a policy of continuous development and close working co-operation with its customers within the carpet industry and it has received major machinery orders from China, Turkey, UAE, Jordan, Brazil, America and Indonesia recently.
